Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reports that Ole Miss Senior Analyst/Pass Game Specialist Dane Stevens is set to be hired as quarterbacks coach at LSU.
Originally from Marietta, Ga., Stevens briefly played offensive line at USC as a walk-on before getting into coaching as a student assistant under Steve Sarkisian and then a graduate assistant under Clay Helton.
He spent two seasons at Ole Miss as a senior analyst and assistant quarterbacks coach for the Rebels under Lane Kiffin before taking the offensive coordinator job at the University of West Georgia in 2024.
He returned to Oxford this year and will now be heading to Baton Rouge.
