LSU head coach Lane Kiffin is reportedly adding two new assistants to his first staff with the Tigers, according to multiple reports.

Georgia offensive quality control coach Ty Hatcher is expected to join Kiffin's staff after one season in Athens and will work alongside offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr., focusing on quarterbacks and tight ends.

Hatcher, a former Samford quarterback and the son of former Samford coach Chris Hatcher, has worked at Alabama, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Georgia, and now LSU. He is 25-years old.

On the special teams side of the ball, Kiffin is reportedly adding Florida Special Teams Quality Control assistant Cason Bicknell as Assistant Special Teams Coordinator under Joe Houston.

Chris Hatcher and Mike Leach worked together at UK. I saw them speak one time - it was hilarious. Hatcher had a great football mind like Leach. I’m sure Ty learned a lot from his dad.
