Former NFL star running back and New Orleans native Marshall Faulk joined the Paul Finebaum show on Thursday and said that he was shocked when he found out that Leonard Fournette was not named as a Heisman finalist.
"I couldn't believe that Fournette did not get invited," Faulk expressed. "Not inviting Fournette, when I saw that... I couldn't believe it. I didn't even understand it."
The former Heisman-runner up went on to compare Fournette to outstanding former NFL running back LaDainian Tomlinson.
"They look some much alike," Faulk said. "Physical, the choppy style of running with the steps, able to get outside, inside, can hit the home-run and catch the ball out of the backfield."
