Three-star wide receiver Kervin Johnson Jr. flipped his commitment from Louisiana Tech to LSU on Monday after receiving an offer from the Tigers' coaching staff this past weekend.

The 6-2, 200-pound prospect from Tioga, La., is LSU's 17th verbal commitment for the class of 2026, which currently ranks 11th overall.

That’s some interesting timing on the commitment. He don’t care about the staff. All LSU!

Hopefully the coaching staff is working hard to keep the players currently committed. The next coach won't have much time to do any recruiting, so its up to the staff that's here to do a good job in keeping what we've got
