LSU freshman linebacker Harold Perkins was name the Chuck Bednarik Award Player of the Week after his dominant performance in the Arkansas game last Saturday. Per MaxwellFootballClub:

In a very defensive game between the Tigers and the Razorbacks, the 6-2, 220-pound linebacker scattered six solo tackles, two assisted tackles, along with four sacks, two forced fumbles, and a quarterback hurry on a cold day in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Perkins and the Tigers move up to #6 in the AP Top 25 Poll, while remaining at #7 in the CFP poll for Week 12. Perkins and the Tigers will host to UAB this Saturday in Baton Rouge.
