LSU interim head coach Frank Wilson was on the SEC Coaches Teleconference on Wednesday morning and said that linebacker Whit Weeks (ankle) did not practice yesterday but is trending in the right direction and could possibly return for the Alabama game on Nov. 8.
quote:

"He did not practice yesterday," Wilson answered. "He had an evaluation that's trending. We got positive news on him."

"I'm optimistic, more now than ever before, that the probability of him playing in this game is a reality. I don't know that for a fact just yet, but we need to continue to trend in the right direction. He had a very, very productive day from a rehabilitation standpoint and from a diagnostic standpoint regarding his status. So I would say he's ascending in the trajectories in the right direction for the possibility of playing in the game."

We need him at bama, so we can mover Perk back to nickle/rover only. I like ascending into the trajectories. We are about to launch Whit.
