Buffalo's longest-tenured player has signed a contract to remain in Buffalo for four more years. Long-snapper Reid Ferguson will remain in Buffalo for years to come with this new contract. He was set to become a free agent on Wednesday.

"It's a cool kind of feather to have in your cap (to be) the longest tenured guy that has been here since the old staff was here," Ferguson said on Saturday afternoon. "So, I appreciate Coach McDermott and Brandon (Beane) for keeping me around, believing in me, trusting me and giving me opportunities to grow in all aspects of my game, on and off the field."

Ferguson, 30, has been with the team since 2016 when was signed as a rookie free agent out of LSU. After spending 2016 on the team's practice squad, Ferguson has played in every regular season game for the last eight seasons and added 13 postseason games.

NFL long snapper. 5-10 plays a game. 7 figure income. Only better gig is the Matt Flynn backup QB gig.

Reid's gonna have bitches and cash AND good knees for decades.

Not to mention the Ferguson Families will be CTE-free. Reid and Blake probably have a record for dollars/hit. They have been hit really hard say...20 times each in their entire NFL careers. Divide their salaries by the number of hard hits and i bet only PKs and punters have it better. And Matt Flynn.
