Former LSU wide receiver Justin Jefferson has been placed on the injured reserve by the Minnesota Vikings after suffering a hamstring injury vs. the Chiefs on Sunday.

Jefferson, the reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year, will miss at least four games as he rehabilitates his injury.

In five games this season, Jefferson has 36 receptions for 571 yards and three touchdowns. The Vikings are 1-4 on the season.

While I understand the statement above about possibly sitting if he comes back and they are 2-7.
But I believe Jefferson has that Heart and will play when he is ready, no matter the contract issue.
