LSU's transfer wide receiver Nic Anderson landed at No. 9 on ESPN's list of Top 10 transfers to watch for in 2025.
quote:

9. Nic Anderson, WR, LSU: The Tigers have put together a CFP-caliber roster with an elite portal class this offseason full of proven starters. Anderson sat out almost the entire 2024 season because of injury but showed he can be a big-time playmaker at Oklahoma in 2023, turning 38 catches into 798 yards and 10 TDs. LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier should greatly benefit from the arrival of Anderson and Kentucky transfer Barion Brown, two of the top wideouts from the portal.
LSU hauled in an impressive transfer class this offseason. Who are you most looking forward to seeing on the field next season?

TE Bauer Sharp - Oklahoma

I’m excited for Braelin Moore. A veteran center is very nice. It’s a very good haul! BK did a great job in the portal this year

Look BK learned quickly how to maneuver this new transfer, NIL era. He recognized our weaknesses and needs and very aggressively attacked the portal with authority and made them strengths. I was very impressed with the caliber of talent we signed, top players at every position from defense and offense even the backup QB is a top talent. Also think about this, we lost nothing of significant in the spring window even after losing Bo Davis and we picked up the best DT prospect in the spring portal, very impressive. Now the coaches have a very tall order on their hands, jelling all this talent together and get them on the same page to make this thing work, NO MORE EXCUSES!!!!!

If LSU can find some of the magic from past defenses, this team could be scary good on offense. As an Auburn fan it'd be refreshing to see someone besides usual suspects rep SEC in CFP..

There are probably 10 in that group who might start. And the rest will probably all play at some time, at least as relievers

Meanwhile BK is not on their top 10 coaches list.

Has to piece together 18 transfers to have a shot at competing for Top 12. Not elite or top tier. He's Paul Mainieri. Beyond his time.

Somebody doesn’t follow College Football outside of LSU if you thinky that’s somehow only LSU brings in talent from the portal.
