LSU coach Brian Kelly revealed Monday that starting offensive lineman Garrett Dellinger had tightrope surgery on his ankle after suffering an injury vs. Texas A&M on October 26.
Kelly said that Dellinger is out vs. Alabama this weekend, but they are hopeful he can return for the Florida game in two weeks.
Redshirt freshman Paul Mubenga replaced Dellinger in the A&M game and will likely start vs. The Crimson Tide on Saturday.
