Head coach Brian Kelly spoke with reporters after LSU's practice on Thursday and was asked about freshman cornerback DJ Pickett, who played 25 snaps in his college debut vs. Clemson.

Kelly said they were really pleased with the way he performed and expect him to play more moving forward.
quote:

"I think he plays with confidence that when he's out there, you don't notice him, Kelly said. And he's 6'5, you should notice him."

"We were really pleased with his first college game. We think he makes us better. It's only going to get better for him as he gets more comfortable and understands the routine. He went to class for the first time last week. We're going to be patient with him, but we're going to play our best players, and he's definitely going to play."

Bro, he's talking about football class. Played in his first game. Meaning he's very good but has a lot more learning to do before he's a complete player. Comment had nothing to do with actual academic classes.
