There has been some buzz around Baton Rouge regarding four-star quarterback Landon Duckworth, who is currently committed to South Carolina.

Duckworth, a 6-3, 195-pound passer from Jackson, Ala., is rated the No. 10 overall quarterback for the class of 2026.

As of 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Duckworth has not signed with the Gamecocks, and some believe LSU is working hard to flip him to the Tigers.

Duckworth visited Baton Rouge on September 6 for the Louisiana Tech game and was hanging out with five-star LSU commit Lamar Brown.

During his visit, Duckwork received an offer from the previous LSU coaching staff.

I am super impressed by Peyton Houston and he seems like a CLK type of QB. Of course ther is Elijah Haven and Colton Nussmier. All of these are 2027, so yeah we need another QB to compete with Van Buren.

Go get em. We not only don't have any QB in the 26 class, we don't have any on our roster either
