USF safety Tawfiq Byard is currently on LSU's campus for a visit as he looks for his transfer destination.

One of Byard's stops on Tuesday was at the indoor facility where players were practicing for the Texas Bowl.

The 6'1, 200-pound redshirt freshman recorded 54 tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 interception this past season.

Don't let him leave without signing. This would go a long way to fixing the defense at the backend. Geaux get him.

Need safeties who can take better angles to ball whether in pass or run game, our safeties were so out of position on big plays all season
