Talented four-star defensive lineman Kasi Currie made his way to Baton Rouge over the weekend to visit LSU and the coaching staff.

Currie, a 6-5, 315-pound lineman from Chatsworth, Calif. (Sierra Canyon), is rated the No. 2 defensive lineman and No. 21 overall player in the country for 2027, according to 247Sports. He received an offer from LSU back in May of 2025.

Getting Currie on campus this past weekend was a huge step in LSU's recruitment, as many elite schools are after the coveted lineman.

So he’s the #2 DL in the country and the #21 overall player in the country and he’s a 4-star? I thought 5 stars were given out to the top 32 players in the country?

Not that it matters but was just curious.
