LSU is the latest school to offer talented linebacker Jacob Phillips from Nashville, TN. He announced his offer on Twitter Monday:


The 6-3, 230-pound prospect from East Nashville Magnet School is the rated the No. 3 overall linebacker in country for the class of 2017. He was recently named the linebacker MVP at a recent Rivals Camp.

Phillips would be a great pick up for LSU or any school. With Beckwith leaving and us short on scholly LB especially MLB he could start as a freshman. We have a few OLB from Def ends moving to that spot since we went to a 3-4, but need help in the middle
