Brian Kelly and the LSU coaching staff extended an offer to four-star offensive tackle Zalance Heard this week.


The 6-5, 300-pound prospect from Monroe, La. (Neville) was high school teammates with current four-star LSU offensive tackle signee Will Campbell.

Heard is rated the No. 7 offensive tackle in the country for the class of 2023. He holds offers from Michigan, Texas, USC, Ole Miss, and several other schools.

LSU currently has two players committed for the class of 2023: TE Mac Markway and WR Omarion Miller.
