The LSU Tigers landed their first offensive lineman for the class of 2023 when three-star offensive tackle Paul Mubenga gave his verbal pledge to Brian Kelly and assistant coach Brad Davis on Thursday.

Mubenga, a 6-4, 280-pound prospect from Buford, Ga., picked the Tigers over Michigan, Texas A&M, and others. He becomes LSU's 16th verbal commit for the 2023 class and the 4th from the state of Georgia.

Do you research or just react. The kid is 16 and has been playing for 2 years. 41 offers. He is loaded with ability.

He was offered by bama and auburn, you have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see it. Gotta love o-lineman with an attitude. Good pickup.

Way better than just a project. You don’t get 41 offers if just a project. He’s only played 2 years of football. Skies the limit

Project? Buford is a powerhouse. Same HS as Vadal and the Ferguson brothers.
