Elite five-star wide receiver Rakim Jarrett from Washington, D.C. announced Saturday that he has committed to LSU.

Jarrett, a 6-0 195-pound prospect from St. John's College HS, is rated the No. 2 wide receiver in the country for the class of 2020, according to all major recruiting websites.

LSU now has 13 verbal commitments for the class of 2020 with the addition of Jarrett.

Poor attitude! This not the same offense as it was with Les. We have current and future QB’s that can run our system! You’ll see.

Excellent choice by Rakim...he will never regret that. I can't wait to see him running out of that tunnel on a crisp fall night!

As weird as it is, there is a proven path of coming to LSU, catching passes from a mediocre quarterback, and moving on to a successful NFL career.

... Cause they learn how to run block! That is a lost art in college football and NFL coaches appreciate guys who value run blocking.
