Head coach Ed Orgeron and the LSU Tigers landed a commitment from three-star defensive tackle Anthony Hundley on Sunday.

Hundley, a 6-3, 265-pound prospect from Miami, Florida, was previously committed to the Miami Hurricanes but reopened his recruitment in August.

If he flips to Alabama he will get five stars.

We also need kids who will be here 4 years, impact players are always a priority, but kids to build your program is what sustains momentum.

If the staff thinks he’s good enough, I’m good with it. Welcome aboard Mr. Hundley!

Justin Jefferson was a 2 star recruit but is now a COMPLETE star in college football. I don’t care so much about those ratings. What I care about is having coaches that know how to evaluate players and make the right decisions with recruiting. And LSU has coaches in place that are brilliant in that aspect of their job. Justin Jefferson was not a 2 star. He was a 3 star that everyone stopped looking at (schools and Recruiting sites) because of grades.

The staff could recruit 25 , 5 stars and someone would complain!! Get a life and get behind the Tigers. Coach Aranda is the same coach this year as last year!!

Why even post this. Over a year away to signing and kid will change his mind several times by then. It’s not a commitment, it’s the flavor of the week

It's a great sign that sought-after recruits are committing early to our program...it's a vote of confidence (to the world on social media) in the direction of the team.

It’s the world we live in, relevance of a program through social media because perception is reality. Capitalize while you’re hot and build your brand.
