Four-star athlete Shyheim Carter from Kentwood, La has decommitted from Alabama. Per AL.com:
quote:

Carter, a four-star defensive back from Kentwood, La., announced on his locked Twitter page that "I'm officially decommitting from the University of Alabama."

Carter is the No. 5 overall cornerback in the country and No. 51 prospect according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Ole Miss, Georgia, LSU and possibly Oregon could be potential landing spots for the Louisiana native.

Hootie will probably be a decent safety for Bama, just not anywhere near Jamaal's level.
