Seated in the crowd at the LSU Tiger Football Caravan in Houston, TX on Wednesday while head coach Ed Orgeron and offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger addressed everyone was top quarterback target Grant Gunnell.
The 6-6, 220-pound prospect from St Pius X High School in Houston is rated the No. 3 pro-style quarterback in the country for the class of 2019, according to 247Sports and Rivals.
Gunnell was a one-time Texas A&M commit, giving his verbal pledge to former Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin and de-committed from new head coach Jimbo Fisher in February.
