Why do we lose so many in state guys to Alabama? shite’s discouraging.

I'm happy to land and hang on to these players but the early signing day was a bust for LSU in terms of securing a typical LSU class. We 13 signed while our competitors signed 22-24. Many of those were LSU targets. It was alot easier for other teams to snag them when the kids don't even know who their coordinators and position coaches will be at LSU. BK needs to make some homerun hires in a hurry so they can secure a top 10 class had compete. So far, I am continually underwhelmed by the new coach.

Two thoughts. frick the Louisiana guys who go play for Bama. Never come home again. Also it doesn’t look like Corey Raymond had much of an impact for Florida.

BK should send O a fruit basket for this class. Small right now but great talent.

I agree we had to move on from O. Once fired, he could have just walked like most coaches in that position would have done. Woodward and O both deserve credit for representing LSU with respect and preserving everything they could for Coach Kelly. I don’t care if he was compensated for it or not. At the end of the day Coach O stayed positive for LSU, his players, and the LSU recruits. I appreciate him doing it, because this could have easily been a TOTAL disaster.

Agreed, this class could have been a total disaster (*see USC 2022 class)
