Following LSU's 80-71 win over Missouri at the PMAC on Tuesday night, ESPN's Joe Lunardi provided some insight as to how the Tigers could find a way to the NCAA Tournament.
As of now, Lunardi has LSU (18-12, 11-6 SEC) out of the NCAA Tournament and said that the Tigers must win the season finale at Kentucky on Saturday and get to the SEC Tournament Final to improve their chances of an at-large bid.
Losing at Kentucky on Saturday will most likely send the Tigers to the NIT unless they win the SEC Tournament and get an automatic bid.
The SEC Tournament starts on Wednesday, March 9th at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. Tournament seeding and tip-off times TBA.
