Tulane guard Jalen Cook announced Friday that he is transferring back to LSU.

Cook, a former four-star prospect from Walker, Louisiana, originally signed with LSU in 2020 and played his true freshman season under former coach Will Wade.

He spent the last two years at Tulane and averaged 19.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game this past season.

Big news for the Tigers.

This will prove to be the most important NIL move for these Tigers next season. So happy Jalen came back. Hated it when he transferred. This team in dire need for competent point guard play as a dual assist/scorer threat.
