Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE – Despite one of its better efforts of the season, LSU basketball once again found itself on the losing end of its game against No. 4 Alabama on Saturday afternoon in the PMAC.

LSU was led in scoring by Derek Fountain who finished with 26 points. Cam Hayes added 15 points of his own and finished with eight rebounds, good enough to lead the team in that category.

For Alabama, both Noah Clowney and Rylan Griffen led the team in scoring with 14 points. Brandon Miller added 11 points and a team high 10 rebounds for the Tide.

The Tigers are back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 8, as they travel to Starkville for an 8 p.m. tilt with Mississippi State on the SEC Network.

Gotta say, most of these comments are reasonable. Seems like we know this will take some time to build. We will be back.

this is a team that had no one returning from last year. all you cry babies out there stop judging this coach in the first year. let him get his own players in and his system in place before you give him his bus ticket out.

Y’all know me, we put up a decent fight, but this isn’t some type of win for us. This program is in shambles.
