Per LSUSports.net: The LSU Men’s Basketball team (1-0) opened the Matt McMahon era with a victory over Kansas City (0-2) Wednesday night in the PMAC by a score of 74-63.
Sophomore guard Adam Miller led the Tigers in scoring, as he finished the night with a team-high eighteen points and four threes. Miller, who made his first appearance in an LSU uniform tonight after dealing with an injury last year, was the offensive spark the Tigers were looking for.
Other statistical leaders included senior forward Mwani Wilkinson, who started the game three for three from beyond the arc and finished with nine points. Senior forward KJ Williams recorded a double-double in his first appearance as a Tiger, as he finished with thirteen points and fourteen rebounds.
