LSU point guard Tremont Waters was selected by the Boston Celtics with the 51st pick in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft on Thursday night.

The New Haven, Connecticut native averaged 15.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game during the 2018-19 season.
