LSU guard Brandon Sampson suffered a high ankle sprain injury in Tuesday night's loss to Notre Dame and will be out 3-4 weeks, according to head coach Will Wade.
Sampson, a junior from Baton Rouge, rolled his ankle after coming down on the foot of Notre Dame's Bonzie Colson less than a minute into Tuesday's game. He was helped off the court to the locker room and did not return to the game.
After the loss, Will Wade said that Sampson will be out for a few weeks and that the X-rays showed no fracture.
