Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE – LSU defeated Ohio 66-51 Wednesday night inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

LSU was led by Tari Eason with 20 points. Eric Gaines also led in assists with 5. Darius Days led LSU with 13 rebounds.

Ben Vander Plas led Ohio with 12 points.

This team would have already lost at least 2 of these games in years past. The defense is just night and day as compared to older LSU squads. And they're only going to improve with experience. I think Pinson will take his game to another level before the post season hits. And the bench as well.

Beat Georgia Tech on the road and they'll be ranked. LSU has yet to play a true road game.
