New LSU head basketball coach Will Wade has sent out his first offer to JUCO point guard Corey Davis from Lafayette, LA.
The offer came from new assistant coach Tony Benford but the Lafayette native was able to speak with Wade about his opportunity to return home to Louisianna. Per Scout.com:
His top schools are Houston, Arizona, LSU, Oklahoma State, and New Mexico State.

quote:Davis, who currently plays San Jacinto College-Central in Pasadena, TX, released a top five schools list on Wednesday and included LSU.
Being the first offer for Wade at LSU was something Davis said was brought up to him immediately and is pretty cool to him, especially being a Louisiana native.
"Coach Wade is pretty cool. He knows what he's ready to do," Davis said. "He talked about how the strength and conditioning coaches are going to get everybody tougher and stronger. He talked about how he was going to change things about LSU Basketball for the better. I like what he was saying so it's really exciting."
