LSU (26-6) dropped down three spots to No. 12 in the final AP Top 25 after last week's loss to Florida in the SEC Tournament.

It is the highest finish in the AP poll for the Tigers since 2000 when former coach John Brady led the team to a 28-6 record and finished at No. 10.

The Coaches poll will be released later today.

Interesting and very reasonable to have FSU and Houston right above us since they were both close losses earlier in the year.

Odd that they released a poll after regular season concludes. Are they going to continue to release one each week? I understand ranking after the tournament is final. But then a lot of things have been weird lately.
