LSU freshman center Shawn Phillips is entering his name into the NCAA transfer portal, according to multiple sources.

The former four-star prospect from Glendale, Ariz., averaged 1.4 points and 2.2 rebounds per game this past year but showed signs of improvement as the season went on.

Phillips scored a career-high 13 points with ten rebounds vs. Georgia in the SEC Tournament, giving the Tigers a huge boost in the final win of the season.
