Per LSUSports.net: KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee hit six home runs Sunday afternoon to lead the Volunteers to a 15-6 win over LSU in Game 2 of the NCAA Super Regional in Knoxville.

With the win, Tennessee clinched a berth to the College World Series and will face either Dallas Baptist or Virginia in the first round. LSU's 2021 season comes to an end with a 38-25 record.

Tennessee starter Blake Tidwell (10-3) picked up the win, firing seven innings and allowing six runs on seven hits.

LSU starter Landon Marceaux (7-7) was pulled after the third inning and suffered his seventh loss of the season. He tallied four strikeouts while giving up three runs -- two earned -- on three hits.

Nobody is shocked because Tennessee is a good team. What’s shocking is that we lost four games to them by a combined 6 runs total but you somehow knew today would be a blowout. You also posted it after the game. How brilliant you are.
