BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU third baseman Tommy White blasted a grand slam to cap off a six run fourth inning for the Tigers, as LSU defeats Ole Miss 9-3 Saturday afternoon inside Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.
With the win, LSU improved to 36-20 on the season and 13-17 in the SEC, while the Rebels dropped to 27-28 and 11-19 in the SEC.
The Tigers return Tuesday in Hoover, Alabama for the SEC Tournament at a time to be decided after all SEC games have concluded on Saturday. The contest will be broadcast on SEC Network, and it can be heard on the LSU Sports Radio Network affiliates.
