LSU Loses Series At Auburn With 4-2 Loss In Game 2

Per LSU: AUBURN, Ala. – Third-ranked LSU dropped the second game of an SEC series to ninth-ranked Auburn, 4-2, Saturday night inside Plainsman Park.
LSU falls to 31-5, 10-4 on the season, while Auburn moves to 25-10, 8-6 on the year.
Right-hander Anthony Eyanson (5-1) was charged with the loss after firing 5.0 innings and giving up four runs on six hits. Eyanson fanned Auburn hitters on the evening. Auburn’s starter Cade Fisher was awarded the victory.
The Tigers return to action Sunday afternoon for the series finale against Auburn. The matchup is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. CT on SEC Network + and can be heard on the LSU Sports Radio Network.
