ATHENS – LSU Baseball fell to Georgia, 11-8, Friday night at Foley Field.
LSU moves to 29-22 overall and 9-16 in the SEC. Georgia moves to 39-11 overall and 19-6 in the SEC.
The Tigers will be back at Foley Field for game two of the series Saturday, May 9th, at 6 p.m. CT. The game will be streamed on the SEC Network and available on the LSU Sports Radio Network.
Deven Sheerin earned the loss with two and one thirds innings pitched, allowing four hits, four runs, one walk, and three strikeouts.
