Former LSU pitcher Gage Jump cashed in this week.

Gage was drafted by the Oakland A's last week with the 73 overall pick and signed for $2 million, which is well over the slotted value of $1,076,900.

Don’t believe all the hype about Cali….

There’s still plenty on amazing places to be in that state.

That's pretty cool that Tanks and Gage were the 2nd and 3rd picks by the A's and they both received well over slot value. LSU would have been in a mess if Gage hadn't rounded into form and pitched well the back half of the season, glad he got paid.

Yeah, but he’ll have to live in Oakland to realize his dream.

That offsets living in California at least

I agree. You would have to give me 8-figures. and I'm still not 100% that I would move to Cal

He'll be in LV in a few years, you guys act like you have no understanding of NV's no state income tax.
