The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Saturday that they have hired Kentucky offensive coordinator Liam Coen to be the team's new OC under head coach Todd Bowles.

Coen will replace Dave Canales who landed the Carolina Panthers head coach job this offseason.

Coen was the Wildcats offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in 2021 but left Lexington to be the Los Angeles Rams offensive coordinator in 2022. He quickly returned to Kentucky as offensive coordinator this past season but is now headed back to the NFL.

Maybe he can "put down roots" and "stay for a while."
Great timing Liam, but you were always looking for that NFL job even though you "liked recruiting and teaching young men".

Everybody has a dream, but you don't have to bullshite everyone along the way.
