He should be ejected for throwing his shoulder in there. That is absolutely unnecessary. I get running through someone on the bag, but that was blatant.

So he should take the brunt of the blow because someone was in his baseline? nope. he protected himself and did his job. Its not tennis

Looks fine to me. My freshman year our only senior popped a foul about 5' off the 1st base line. He veered out and knocked the shite out of the first baseman. He got called out.

First baseball had to go up the line to field the throw. Runner did the right thing.

Runner really did nothing wrong here. He's looking at the bag line running full speed, he can't be expected to look at the incoming throw or stop or change direction on a dime for the first baseman having to jump in the bag line for an errant throw. Baseball has contact sometimes. Carry on
