Georgia defensive analyst Andrew Thacker is reportedly being promoted to be the Bulldogs' new nickels coach.
Thacker coached at Georgia Tech for four years before joining Kirby Smart's staff last season.
He was the defensive coordinator for the Yellow Jackets from 2019-2023 but was demoted to safeties coach in his last season before being fired in December 2023.
