Per SECSports: No. 1 Georgia became the first team in the College Football Playoff era to earn back-to-back national titles in dominant fashion, routing No. 3 TCU 65-7 in the College Football Playoff Championship on Monday night at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

The Bulldogs were relentless while successfully defending the national title they won a year earlier, jumping on the Horned Frogs early and never letting up as quarterback Stetson Bennett accounted for four first-half touchdowns and six overall (four passing, two rushing). Bennett completed 18 of 25 passes overall for 304 yards while also rushing three times for another 39 yards, piling up those numbers in the first three quarters before getting pulled from the game early in the fourth.
