Tony Hawk Posts X-Ray Of His Hand After His Skating Accident

Tony Hawk is an awesome dude. He regularly has free summer skateboard camps for kids who have one or both parents in prison. Gives them a free skateboard, encourages them to channel their frustrations into improving themselves. Stuff like that. I’ve seen him at a lot of Padres games as well. He prefers to sit behind the home dugout instead of a box.

Not that he doesn't have any practice discarding wedding rings; he's on his what, fourth marriage?

I just listened to a recent Joe Rogan episode with him talking about trying to take it easy when he skates now. That’s wild.

Dislocated a finger like that once and xray looks very similar. Not pleasant at all.

I saw Tony Hawk skate on a wooden half pipe in 1986 at the Hot Tropics in Mobile Al. He busted out his “McTwist” and signed my Mike McGill board. He is a friendly person. There was no highbrow snobbery in that dude at all.

Even with the X-ray my wife wouldn't buy that story.
