Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reports that former Florida head coach Billy Napier "has emerged as a person of interest for the James Madison head coaching job."

James Madison has begun looking for their replacement for Bob Chesney, who is taking the UCLA job.

Napier was fired from Florida on October 19 after a 3-4 start this season. He was 22-23 overall at Florida over 3+ seasons.

He won't put JMU or any program over his desire to call boring, high school play calls.

That's what I came here to say. He'll be alright as long as he's gotta play caller. How can you have such tunnel vision and not see that it's your sorryass calls why you get beat.
