According to multiple reports, Florida offensive coordinator Brian Johnson has informed the Gators that he is leaving for the NFL to become the Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks coach...
quote:

Johnson rejoined Dan Mullen at Florida after serving as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Houston for a season. Before that he was on Mullen’s staff at Mississippi State working with the quarterbacks, most notable of which being current Cowboys star quarterback Dak Prescott.

Before his time with Mullen in Starkville, Johnson was the youngest offensive coordinator in the country at Utah, where he was named to the post at just 24 years old, fresh off a three-year run as the starter for the Utes. As the lead signal caller on the field, Johnson led Utah to a school-record 26 wins, including a win over Alabama in the Sugar Bowl in 2008 to cap a perfect 13-0 season.

will be curious to see if Mullen gets a quality coach, or an unproven guy like we did. This will be a good comparison.

Get Russ Callaway! Coach O hired a package deal so Callaway is getting other offers. He’s young and bright, been an OC, and called plays.
