Napier will be reunited with former Tide quarterback Blake Barnett, who transferred to Arizona State in December. Napier is stepping into the position previously filled by new Auburn offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey.

The 37-year old Napier had been Alabama's wide receivers coach since 2013, helping to develop players such as All-American Amari Cooper and All-SEC selections Calvin Ridley and ArDarius Stewart.
