Coaches are far too often guilty of favoring kids they have recruited or kids with "upside" over kids that are actually better and are willing to put the work in. There is no arse kissing of prima donnas in this depth chart. Work hard...

Any way you cut it, it is just a matter of time before Mizzou will be in the top half of the SEC in athletics. I'll predict 6 to 8 years and Mizzou is thought of as top 1/2 in SEC by college sports fans....

Football isn't apples to apples with baseball. NFL games are on Sunday and there aren't very many of them, 8 home games for both Rams and Chiefs. Royals and Cards have 81 home games each. That is a big difference.

I didn't know there was such a thing as a college baseball snob. Funny stuff, really. With the Cards and Royals to choose from, Mizzou will never be a huge fan draw in baseball. Will it get better? yes. The only place it really counts is on the scoreboard and it will take a recruiting cycle for Mizz...

We need Franklin to step up and have a good season and win. A clear leader by the spring game would be good going into summer workouts. It would be great for the #2 to get a series each half the way Chance Mcdanielson cut his teeth....
