We need to win the East next year so that they can complain that the East is down!

Seems like the everyday bullshite on the rant to me.

You think they gonna kick us out because Bama fan popped off from his trailer?

Probably not.

Coming from the same folks who would run a strand of barbed wire around the trailer court...and proudly claim they live in a "gated community."

It's not just here though, it's everywhere. And all Mizzou fans do is make it worse when we don't show up for games, because you know every media outlet will make several headlines about it. I don't know if you noticed, but we've been literally having a weekly article from Saturday Down South bashing our attendance.

Obviously they won't kick us out, but these threads start popping up every time something negative happens here. Even before the protests, people said this shite in 2012. All the protests and 5-7 did was give them more ammo. I think the least we could do is show up to the games though

The cruel hard facts are that a significant number of Missouri fans aren't going to games to "support the team." They go to be entertained. And it ain't very entertaining to watch the home team play like crap.

If we can ever return to respectability on the field, the attendance will improve. And not until...no matter how cute the uniforms are, or how much hand-holding the players do.

I fear we'll see poor crowds and difficult recruiting for several years ahead.

I hate to tell it to you folks, but they are going to complain that Missouri shouldn't be in the conference for decades. Hell they still say Arkansas shouldn't be in the SEC and we've been conference members longer then most of them have been alive.

It doesn't really help matters that when you get right down to it Missouri really is different then places like Alabama or Mississippi. You are always going to be outsiders in this conference.

If it helps matter you won't be alone. Kentucky is more of a Midwestern state then Southern at this point and while most of Arkansas is Southern as hell, NW Arkansas, where the University is located, is basically a little Midwestern outpost. We are always going to be a bit different from the rest of the conference but I think we can live with that.

All of this. There were endless threads about us not belonging win we won the east back to back. The correct response is 'make sure you send those checks before you get back to fuking your sister'

It is fun to be the black sheep of the bunch, especially when you are good and can rub their noses in it. Our players will always get to play with a chip on their shoulder and that is a good thing. Right now Mizzou sucks so the pop shots from the southern idiots sting a little bit. It will make it all the more fun when MU gets back to winning. Just don't give me any of that B.S. talk about a 4-5 year rebuild.
