although i think 2002-2004 those teams were damn good. he could have done better in areas, yea, but 2002-2005 (as you included for DJs year) he did a pretty damn good job. 2006 he was rebuilding so 9-4 aint half bad at all. 2007 they were great but he really fricked our chances at a title with losses...

My friend who is a graduate assistant at Georgia recently told me that if Georgia eclipsed the 7-5 mark, it should be considered a successful season. He said UGA's decline is mainly a talent issue. Thought it was interesting. TIFWIW...
