The Dogs lost some games, he said, because the other team played harder. “That’s embarrassing,” Richt said. “It’s our shame and it’s my fault. We’re not going to let that happen again.”

yea, thats pretty awful. didn't think people needed to be coerced into trying hard in the SEC.

Not to deflect but to use an example, LSU fans freely admit their 12th game each and every season is meaningless, and thus, little effort or prep is given to it.

That's a bad reflection on Richt. I'm not sure I would ever admit that.

he has a tendency to do that, and i agree, its an awful reflection upon him. really just adds more fuel to the angry masses. that is supposed to be one of the EASIER parts of his job.
i am putting this with him saying he saw cam newton more as a TE and he how he was excited to "learn more about the game of football" with all the new free time he has gotten fro mcgarity allocating some of his jobs to others.

as a member of a SEC West message board i'd expect nothing different

Ours? That's what you guys tell us! Meaningless game your boys can't get motivated for, Arky Super Bowl, blah blah blah...
Sorry DGD. Hopefully MR can change the culture now that he has identified his recent regressions.

I kind of hope he has a good season as well. It may keep him around for a few years.

I think RIcht's tenure at UGA is done... It's just how the SEC cycle goes.

Malzahn to UGA?
They want Mullen. I think they should go after a coach that can win more than one game against western division teams a year.

I would love Mullen to go to UGA. Love it!
