Fans of the schools these guys went to.. do you guys feel like you got what you expected out of these guys? Its hard to believe they are already done in college..
As an LSU fan, I feel like PP was great, and when we signed him I underestimated how valuable a lockdown corner was. So I feel like we got what we expected out of PP.

IMO Julio peaked his freshman year. I think injures really hampered him but I didn't see much improvement over these three years.

Julio - yes, got what I expected. Clear number one receiver, difference maker. Didn't always have monster numbers because of the style of offense, but his impact on Bama's success was huge.

Yeah the only one of the three that I can see a fanbase being dissapointed with is Julio. Yall had such high expectations for him. Finebaum started talking about him on his show his Sophmore year in HS, how Bama needed the guy and he would be the worlds greatest recruit.

id say everyone got plenty out of them.
hopefully pp finishes up his degree work in the offseasons so we can put him in the little ring of honor deal we started doing

Bama fans HAD to have expected Julio to have ridiculous numbers when he left.
Im not saying he wasnt a good WR, but all of yall know you had higher expectations than what actually transpired.

Yes. Watching that 9:00 highlight film from AJ's junior year (look it up on youtube if you've got some time to kill) made my jaw drop. It was the most incredible WR high school film I'd ever seen in my life. And he sure lived up to it. I only saw AJ drop one pass in 3 years that he really should have caught, against UT his freshman year. Outside of that he was phenomenal and did things 99% of other receivers just can't do. He was truly a joy to watch and one of my favorite dawgs ever. I'll miss him, he's the best WR we've ever had.

I had higher expectations for Julio, but those were dampered by JPW, McElroy, and McElwain, plus his string of injuries.
I really hope Julio decides to come back for another year, I really think he can have a monster year next season especially with a QB who can get him the ball.

We only had Julio for 3 years, but won a national championship during that time. It'd be hard to expect any more.

I thought AJ was awesome and it was amazing to see him play in person while I was a student. I just hate that his time was wasted on the worst 3 year run under Mark Richt. Can't feel too bad for him, he certainly didn't help the situation this year
ETA: Yes, he was actually better than I expected since I'm pretty skeptical about hyperbolic recruiting services.

Julio was somewhat of an enigma. I expected more out of him, but he is arguably the best WR to ever play at Bama.

AJ Green in high school was unreal. I remember hearing about him during his freshman season at Summerville High School from a college buddy. We were hoping that he would come to Carolina, but it wasn't meant to be. AJ Green definitely lived up to the hype, though.

AJ has to be the biggest disappointment of the 3. Him missing the 1st 4 games this year pretty much ruined Georgia's season.

Actually, I really wanted him because he was such a great prospect, but I knew if he wanted to put up big numbers, he'd have to go where his talent would be fully utilized (Texas Tech/Oklahoma)...

Got what was expected out of Julio. The concensus among non-Bama fans was that he would have to work with an average at best QB while he was here.

I remember AJ made Rivals' All-American team as a Junior, which is pretty rare I believe. I know it sure doesn't happen often.
